An Introduction to Campus Manitoba and its Platforms
Campus Manitoba has been supporting post-secondary education over the last 30 years. Our free online platforms – eCourses Manitoba, OpenEd MB, and Set Your Course – are your avenues to access post-secondary education across Manitoba.
We’ve put together some openly-licensed videos to give a brief introduction to the organization and each of its platforms. Whether you’re a faculty member, support staff, post-secondary student, administrator, guidance counsellor, parent, or any other manner of stakeholder in education — welcome! We love to collaborate, connect, and create, and we are excited by the chance to support you in your educational endeavours.
Campus Manitoba
Campus Manitoba is centrally positioned to provide specialized guidance to a diverse audience in Manitoba’s post-secondary education system. Our organization is actively committed to providing support in online teaching and learning, open education, career planning, and innovations in educational technology.
eCourses Manitoba
eCourses Manitoba is a portal to online learning in Manitoba. The site allows students to search for over 1200 degree, diploma, certificate, and professional learning courses across Manitoba’s post-secondary institutions, and craft an education that works best for them.
OpenEd MB (The Manitoba Open Textbook Initiative)
Since 2015, OpenEd MB has worked with Manitoba faculty in using Open Educational Resources (OERs) to strengthen post-secondary teaching and learning. OERs significantly reduce student expenses and promote collaboration between subject-area experts across North America.
Set Your Course
Set Your Course (SYC) is a launching point for individuals interested in Manitoba-specific education and career information. This website provides occupational information for over 400 careers, as well as the corresponding educational pathways within Manitoba.

Through collaborative projects and shared services, we facilitate student mobility and expand access to post-secondary programs for students in Manitoba. eCourses is your resource for online learning in Manitoba, providing flexible pathways for you to achieve your academic or career goals. With more than 1,200 courses to choose from, you can craft an education that works best for you. Our Virtual Help Desk is here to help you navigate through courses from across Manitoba’s post-secondary institutions.
Home to more than 300 open educational resources (OERs), the Manitoba Open Textbook Initiative provides support to help you (as a faculty member) review, adapt and adopt open textbooks. If you’re a student, browse our collection of open textbooks that you can read, download or print for free.
