Campus Manitoba: 30 Years of Supporting Manitoba’s Post-Secondary Community
30 years in education: it is time for a celebration! This month marks an important anniversary.
From the early days of remote learning centres to today’s virtual platform models, the mission of Campus Manitoba has always been to provide access to education. We firmly believe that everyone in Manitoba is deserving of a chance to explore post-secondary learning. Likewise, we are proud to support faculty members and staff across our partner institutions in their initiatives and endeavours. No matter the specific mandate of Campus Manitoba, we have worked hard to serve as a knowledgeable, supportive, and innovative organization in Manitoba’s post-secondary landscape over the last 30 years.
Today, Campus Manitoba’s platforms in online learning, open education, and career planning are important launching points for students, faculty, and staff as they pursue their personal and professional goals. Our team of seven strives every day to grow and learn in our own rights. We value collaboration and flexible approaches to teaching and learning, and we welcome new connections. We are excited by new trends and topics in education. Importantly, we work to provide encouragement to members of Manitoba’s post-secondary community, whenever and however they need.
This month, we launch a new CMB landing page. We will share tidbits from our first 30 years of existence. Finally, we will walk you through our platforms. Whether you are refreshing your knowledge of Campus Manitoba through the years or joining us for the very first time, welcome. We are happy to have you on board.
In the spirit of openness, collaboration, and increasing access to education, join us in celebrating our 30th anniversary. We are excited for what the next 30 years brings!

Campus Manitoba’s administrative office is located on Treaty 2 territory, with offices in Treaty 1 territory, the shared traditional lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Assiniboine, Dakota and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. Let this acknowledgement be an opening for us to learn more about the land we live on and envision a way to challenge racism, inequality and colonialism.
